Miami, FL – June 1 2020 (EmergingGrowth.com NewsWire) — EmergingGrowth.com, a leading independent small cap media portal with an extensive history of providing unparalleled content for the Emerging Growth markets and companies, reports on StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. (OTC Pink: SFOR).
EDISON, N.J., June 1st, 2020 – StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. (OTC PINK: SFOR), announces that it’s Out-of-Band Authentication technology would have helped protect NTT’s network from being breached.
In early May hackers breached the computer network of Japan’s NTT Communications (OTCMKTS: NTTYY), stealing information on 621 customers according to an article iin Data Center Dynamics (https://www.datacenterdynamics.com/en/news/ntt-com-internal-cloud-server-hacked-information-621-customers-stolen/).
NTT Communications provides cloud, network and data center services to some of the world’s biggest companies like Hitachi, Ltd. (OTC Pink: HTHIY) Honda MNotors (NYSE: HMC) Japan Airlines (OTC Pink: JAPSY), and NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) among others. Its parent, NTT Group is ranked in the top 100 of the Fortune Global 500.
How it Happened:
The company believes hackers started from an NTT base in Singapore, reached a cloud server in Japan, from there went to an NTT Com server on its internal network, before finally reaching an internal Active Directory server. There they stole data and uploaded it to a remote server.
“Large global companies are not as secure as you might think, says Mark L. Kay, CEO of StrikeForce, the larger a company is means that is has more employees, computers, mobile devices, third party vendors, and remote access connections, each of these are potential attack vectors for hackers.”
“NTT competitors, Wipro (NYSE: WIT), Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) and Infosys (NYSE: INFY) have all become targets for hackers, says Kay. Each of these global companies corporate networks would be significantly more secure if they were using our own StrikeForce Technologies (OTC Pink: SFOR) ProtectIDÒ Out-of-Band authentication technology.”
“When it comes to authentication technologies there are two types, In-band and Out-of-Band. Over the years hackers have figured out how to bypass in-band authentication systems by launching a Man-in-the-Middle attacks against them, the bad news is that they are able to bypass in-band authentication systems 100% of the time. On the other hand, Out-of-Band Authentication system utilizes two channels to authenticate a user vs. one channel and are not susceptible to Man-in-the-Middle attacks.”
“That’s why we are so excited about our ProtectID Out-of-Band Authentication system” says Kay, we are both, the inventor and patent holder. To learn more about how our ProtectID Out-of-Band Authentication system can protect your network, your customers, your transactions and your third party vendors, visit us at www.strikeforcetech.com. I’m sure NTT wished they had our system.
