CAMPBELL, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/19/16 — Friendable, Inc. (OTC PINK: FDBL) today announced that in order to accommodate its user growth and increased time spent in the Friendable app over the past few months, the company is making enhancements to various areas of its network and app.
Friendable CEO, Robert Rositano Jr., stated, “Our recent marketing efforts have resulted in a consistent increase in download numbers and user time spent in the Friendable app over the past several months, and our technology affords us direct performance metrics and feedback from our user activity. This feedback as well as what we are learning by analyzing this data is proving to be invaluable as we prepare for future growth.
“Providing the best possible user experience has always been our number one priority, which is why we are implementing the following enhancements to the Friendable infrastructure,” continued Rositano.
Increasing the speed and capacity of the server code, allowing for faster response times in the app, as well as a capacity to handle a larger number of simultaneous users. Recent optimizations and improvements have shown a 2X – 3X speed increase in certain areas;
Creating a better in-app user experience by implementing key optimizations on the server, as well as within the Android, and iOS applications;
Implementing updates to enhance overall performance in cross app usage (i.e. iOS to Android and vice versa), Facebook login and image issues;
Improving on Android push and in-app notification making it easier to connect and chat with nearby users;
Performing an infrastructure audit and implementation of an optimized Server architecture, application and server security (VPN and SSL), app release automation, process optimization, and more;
Upgrading in-app support for new opportunities that may include celebrity and large scale events for users with large numbers (1,000’s) of attendees, friends, active chats, and simultaneous connections.
“Our app has been through several iterations and upgrades since its initial launch, allowing Friendable to deploy our Android version of the app in April 2016 to further expand our market reach. We have been focused on assessing the metrics of user growth, time spent, and brand exposure to appropriately expand our infrastructure, as well as enhance both app platforms,” Continued Rositano.
“We expect these efforts to have an overall impact on the future of Friendable, our revenue model and the overall growth of our business.”
