Friendable CEO Expands on Its $500,000 Commitment in a Letter to Shareholders Below
CAMPBELL, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/02/16 — Friendable, Inc. (OTC PINK: FDBL), the mobile-social network focused on the future as opposed to sharing the past, is taking this opportunity to update shareholders on its relationship with The Kluger Agency (TKA).
Founded in 2008, the agency specializes in placing the advertisement of products within the medium of popular music by partnering brands with musical artists and A-List celebrities. Friendable was sought out by The Kluger Agency (TKA) in late 2015 as a brand their team had identified as having the potential for viral growth, with the proper media exposure.
“As most of our collaborators are music stars who are amongst the most influential celebrities in the world, it has always put us in a very strategic position to work with emerging brands,” said TKA’s Head of Artist Partnerships. “We believe integrating Friendable into music videos by A-List music stars and in some cases leveraging social media, will allow them to reach an engaged audience of hundreds of millions. As Friendable’s user base continues to grow, it puts us in an strategic position to cross promote existing artists and emerging talent on the Friendable platform as well.”
“We feel extremely fortunate to have this opportunity to work with TKA, and $500,000 is a significant commitment to any marketing roll out,” said Robert Rositano Jr., Friendable CEO. “We expect to expand our awareness and generate an influx of new user downloads with this strategy, as well as significantly increasing brand awareness by allowing Friendable to tap into tens of millions of fans for each celebrity relationship we roll out. It is widely known that most trends are often driven by Hollywood influences, so when I was contacted by TKA and told they had identified the Friendable brand as a target relationship and had also worked on successful strategic relationships withPlentyoffish.com and Tinder, we knew the power in the business combination would be substantial.”
CEO Letter to Shareholders:
This is an exciting time for our Company and it is my pleasure to provide some additional details regarding our relationship with The Kluger Agency (TKA).
Forbes and Billboard Magazine have both named TKA’s CEO one of their 30 most influential people in the music industry under the age of 30. Working with clients to partner products with A-List musicians such as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Flo Rida, Jennifer Lopez, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, and Meghan Trainor, elevating brands with unparalleled results for clients launching products, increasing brand awareness, and driving YouTube views and website traffic. The fact that TKA has handled celebrity partnerships for Plentyoffish.comand Tinder among many others, made the decision to align ourselves with TKA that much easier knowing they understood the social networking and mobile app marketplace.
On January 27, 2016 Friendable Inc. entered into an agreement to retain The Kluger Agency to identify and secure relationships with music celebrities as well as integrate Friendable into music videos with Major A-List recording artists. Following our due diligence on the successes of the TKA’s previous relationships we collectively agreed to commit a minimum of six months to ensuring the most broad market exposure possible. After months of planning, production, as well as post production, we are on the edge of our seats as the launch of our very first partnership of this kind will occur within the coming weeks. As with any campaign it all comes down to frequency, which is why this is a $500,000 effort and should build momentum as additional artist relationships are announced moving forward.
TKA’s reach is un-matched and is the music industry’s leading brand partnership agency specializing in the strategic alignment of brands (coined “brand-dropping”) into artist song lyrics or music videos. Finding places where a musical artist is likely to mention a specific product in their song or have a video concept/treatment that lends itself to a particular product or service, and then matching the artist with companies that produce those products creating an unnoticeable yet very effective form of advertising.
Expanding Friendables brand recognition and acquiring users for our mobile app by using music and video as an advertising medium is a natural fit. Placing Friendable within the lyrics and music videos themselves puts us in front of millions of fans that follow each artist. These fans vary in terms of demographic based on each artist and we have been fortunate to identify those artist’s with fans that are exactly of the demographic most likely to become Friendable users.
Friendable Inc. is the social network of the future, where connections are based on future opportunities rather than past events, where all are location specific and nearby. The Friendable brand represents a friends first approach to new connections and takes all the pressure off for its users, making it simple to make connections, create meet up events and meet new friends using shared interests and location. These user interactions will allow Friendable to offer advertising and sponsorship opportunities to local venues/businesses and begin to generate revenue by providing these venues and or businesses with location specific opportunities to reach potential customers when it matters most; when they are nearby and looking for something to do or have a great idea of what to do and need others to join, whether it is an invite for one or meant as a group style meet up.
