U.S. stocks closed modestly lower on Friday, November 18, 2016. The Dow Jones Industrial Average skid 0.19%, S%P 500 lost 0.24%, and the NASDAQ closed down 0.23% on Friday.

Micro-cap stocks closed mostly lower on Friday, as only four of the ten indices managed to post positive gains on the day. In addition, five of the ten micro-cap indices managed to post losses that were at least 0.97% or greater on the day, showing a strong sell off. However, the story continues to be the rallying OTCQB Venture Index, which is not only the strongest micro-cap index right now, but the index also has an eight-day win streak. Aside from the OTCQB Venture Index’s 2.20% gain on the day, the OTCQX U.S. Index rallied 0.52%, the OTCQX Canada Index finished up 0.46%, and the OTCQX Banks Index closed up 0.15% on Friday.
