U.S. stocks closed all over the place on Thursday, November 10, 2016. The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 1.17%, while the NASDAQ dipped 0.81%. The S&P 500 closed up marginally by 0.20% on Thursday. The strange price action certainly impacted micro-cap stocks, as well. Numerous micro-cap indices closed down over 1%, and only two of the ten indices managed to close in positive territory. However, one of those indices that closed in positive territory, the OTCQB Venture Index, surged 3.72% on the day. Long story short, it appears that U.S. markets are facing both boom and bust, depending on how each sector is likely to benefit from a President Trump.
