As large-cap stocks post the longest losing streak in 36 years, micro-cap stocks took a massive hit on Friday, November 4, 2016. The S&P 500 closed down 0.17% on Friday and only three OTC stock indices were able to, not only beat large-cap performance, but also close in positive territory: OTCQX Banks Index closed up 0.56%, OTCQX U.S. Index closed up 0.28%, and the OTCQB Venture Index rallied 0.16% on Friday, November 4, 2016. Other OTC indices suffered steep losses of nearly 1% or more. This comes after micro-cap stocks have managed to post overall outperforming results, compared to large-cap stocks, over the past several trading sessions. It appears traders continue to have a case of severe election anxiety.
